STORY:
Leknes, Lofoten Island, Norway
The wind was blowing a gale. Rain was falling sideways. The mountains were hidden by the rolling clouds. I set up my camera and waited. A shower cap over the camera kept it from getting wet. I had to keep one hand on the tripod to prevent my camera from being blown over. It was looking hopeless. The rest of the group decided to retreat. It wasn’t looking good at all. I stood my ground. I had a quiet word with the man above. Soon after, the wind died down, the rain ceased, and the mountains were visible. The sun even came out for just long enough to colour the sky. Amazing.
