Limited Edition Prints explained
All Harry’s photographs are displayed and sold as Limited-Edition Prints. What this means is, each photo listed in Harry’s portfolio has been specially selected, documented and provided a quota number. This number signifies that the photo will be printed and sold the allotted quota number amount of times only.
For example, if the quota for a particular photo is 50, the maximum amount of prints of that photo sold, produced, printed, regardless of size and finish, will be 50. Once all 50 are sold, that photo is noted as “SoldOut”. There is no particular formula used in deciding the quota for each print, except maybe to the degree of popularity of each photo.
Each time a Limited-Edition Print is sold, the buyer receives a Certificate of Authenticity that certifies the print is an original print and that I am the photographer of that photo. Details of the buyer, the print, and the LEP # for that print, is recorded for tracking purposes and possible resale.
Limited Edition Print (LEP) Option
Premium LEP - Plus 15
When you purchase a Premium LEP, you are purchasing a high-quality printed photo. When choosing the Premium LEP option, your LEP # starts from 15. You choose the LEP number which must be greater than 15 and less than the quota number of the particular print you’re purchasing.
The Printing and Framing Lab uses high archival quality fine art Hahnemühle paper for prints being framed, Chromajet Metallic Pearl printing paper for a brilliant high gloss media with a metallic pearl finish for extra shine for Acrylic Face Mounted prints, and Hahnemühle, Leonardo Canvas printing material for Canvas finish prints. Your print is prepared to last a lifetime.
Elite LEP - 2 to 5
Just like the Premium LEP option, when you purchase an Elite LEP, you are purchasing a high-quality printed photo but with the Elite option value. Your LEP # will be between 2 & 5. As these numbers are at the higher end of the LEP spectrum for the particular photo that you are purchasing, its value holds stronger, it becomes a highly sort after print and has a greater resale value.
