Shelter from the Snow
When we arrived at the Kanangra Walls Lookout car park, this shelter caught my eye. The trees were beginning to filter the first light of the morning. A beautiful deep red/orange colour along the top tips of these tall magnificent trees. I knew I had to come back to this shortly after the sun had risen so not to miss capturing that lovely colour on the trees. After capturing the sunrise at the Lookout, I told my friend that I was heading back the the car park to capture this photo and that I will return. The distance to the car park was about 10 or so minutes. I knew that the light would change dramatically in 10 minutes and I may miss the shot, so I picked up the pace and started a jog. I got there just in time.
