STORY:
Kanangra Walls Lookout, Oberon NSW
I returned from an overnight/day stay at the Boyd River camping ground located about half hour outside of Oberon. I was joined by a good friend and avid photographer Norman and his daughter. I spent the night sleeping in a swag. It was my first time in a swag. To say it was cold is an understatement. We had the fire cranked up and the marshmallows at hand. The wind was blowing a gale. The snow was falling sideways in all directions. In the morning, the ground was covered by 20cm of snow. My swag went from green to white overnight. The trees, grass, everything covered with snow. So beautiful, so magical. About 10mins away was a spot called Kanangra Walls Lookout. We drove there to capture the sunrise with the surroundings covered with snow. We were not disappointed. Amazing, beautiful, speechless. Shortly after I took this photo, the clouds blew over and the snow fell. If you follow me on FBook, you would’ve seen a small clip I shared of this moment. It was truly A-MA-ZING!
