Story
Uluru is such a big rock. It’s around 8kms right around. That’s a fair hike. I didn’t get the opportunity to walk around it this time but one day I will. I was standing at the Kuniya car park when this section of the Uluru caught my eye. The dark wavy lines that run virtually and horizontally. The changing colour of the rock from the closest point to the furthest. All balanced by the plantation that surrounds this magnificent structure. One of the highlights at Uluru is to listen to an Unangu aboriginal guide tell the story of the Battle of Liru and Kuniya. What makes this story unforgettable is that the ancient features of majestic Uluru itself becomes the storyboard to that legend.
