STORY:
Mannahill Hotel
A little bit further down the road is a small town called Mannahill. Population 6, but at the 2016 census, it showed that no one actually lives there. Located there is the Mannahill Hotel, built in 1889, a police station and a disused railway station. I pulled over at the Hotel to gab myself a coffee and stretch the legs. The inside of the hotel was decked out with so much history, memorabilia and locally crafted art. When you zoom into the photo you can see trucks and trains made from drink cans. A local 80yo does this to pass the time. Amazing! By the way, I didn’t make it back the next day for that free beer.
