STORY:
Pyramid Hill, Pilbara WA
The day was coming to an end. The trip was coming to a close. One final photo. Pyramid Hill. Driving out of George Gorge the Pyramid could be seen in the distance. It looked like it would take us a day to get to. We hit the dirt road. Dust filled the air behind us as we travelled toward the Hill. 10km later, it still looked far away. Almost an hour it took to arrive. The sun was going down quickly. I jumped out of the car grabbing my camera and gear, and headed inland for about 200 meters. So quiet, so peaceful. I composed my photo. Before I pressed the shutter, I stopped and reflected over the last couple of days, the places that we visited. What a beautiful place the Pilbara. We only scratched the surface of what’s in the region. I will be returning again in the near future. Thanks Clinton for share your land and culture with me.
