STORY
There they were, resting high on the foundations of a large granite crest, in the most southern park of Kangaroo Island. A signature landmark of the island. It took 500 million years for rain, wind, and pounding waves to create these aptly named granite boulders. From a distance they don’t look all that big but it’s not until you get close to them that you actually witness how enormous they really are. As the sun was going down the golden orange lichen that covered the rocks was becoming ever so noticeable. Natures art on display for all to marvel over.
