Stand Tall
When I go out to do photos, I usually have an idea of what I am hoping to capture. I look for that special moment. And when I find it, wow, absolute excitement. I can't wait to share with you all.
Today I set out to capture a special photo. Not special wow as mentioned above, but special in the stories behind the photo. Stories of heroism, courage, heartache and loss.
As I was driving through the Yellow Rock area, my heart felt for all those who lost homes, contents and memories due to the resent devastating bush fires. I was looking to photograph a peace of the aftermath to honor the heroic fire fighters for all their selfless efforts and I also want to pay my respects to the people who have lost everything. Chin up, stand tall, our thoughts are with you.
